Taking a break…

At the moment, we are in Sun Valley, Idaho. Actually, more than the moment. We will be here until April 25th. Cliff spoke on the 6th at Life Church. It was an incredible message full of passion in regards to reaching out.

Our month of March was full. A full month with churches, leaders, friends and families that cared for us, loved on us and encouraged us in regards to the call. The time in Albion, Michigan was a great place for me (Christie) to ease back into ministry. Our friends who are also the pastors took such great care of us! A couple of meetings just outside of Columbus were also good times of hooking up with some old friends.

All of this was on the way to Huntington, WV where our friend Tommie Zito was ministering at New Life Church. His team helps to train local church members and/or their leaders to go on the streets and share their faith. Around 1400 people were born again during that week in my home town!! It was awesome! On that Saturday we also had another memorial for my family. It was a wonderful time of celebrating Lauren’s life again!

From Huntington was a short stop in Knoxville then to Tulsa for a few days and on to Los Angeles before arriving to Sun Valley. It was a busy 7 weeks of travel and ministry, but it was a fruitful 7 weeks. It wasn’t what most would want to do after a tragedy, but it was what we agreed we needed to do. We also agreed that this time in Sun Valley was necessary and is proving to be very healing.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us to continue the call. Thank you for also helping us to take a few weeks off in one place. It is impossible to express how thankful we are to God for each of you! Please know that in your reaching out to us, you really have helped our healing process.

All for now….

One Response to “Taking a break…”

  1. Hey Guys, this is Rachel (Pat and Lynn’s Daughter). This is the first I’ve really had a chance to look at your site. I was very sorry to hear about your loss. You have my deepest sympathies. Being a mom myself now I can’t begin to imagine what your going through. By it’s good to see that you guys are doing well. I just wanted to say I wish I would have had the pleasure of meeting her. The pictures of her on here are BEAUTIFUL. So is Tory (and wow has she grown since I saw her). I wish you guys all the best.

P.S. I wanted to say also I don’t know if you listen to Michael W. Smith at all but he sings a song called hello goodbye, if you haven’t heard it you should listen to it. Love you guys
